So we’ve had a little panic this week. Whilst the apache chillies, twilight and even the notoriously unreliable scotch bonnet have germinated fine and already been potted on. We had to wait until this week to see the Friar’s Hat chillies planted back in January finally germinate and even then the pattern seems somewhat erratic. We even panicked enough to buy in some additional seed but it looks like that fear was at least unfounded. At long last our friars hat chillies are up and looking strong – but will they be big enough to form the second tallest line of plants by July or will they need to be moved forward in the pecking order?… let’s see what Julie’s singing can do!
The first apache chilli, twilight, friars hat, missile, ring of fire and scotchbonnet chilli plants have now been potted up again into 1L pots and starting to flower… come on sunshine we want fruits by July
