Our Grow Your Own Curry Display Wins Silver at Hampton Court Flower Show

So it was a fantastic week at the show, the sun shone, the visitors flocked in record numbers and we had a blast.  It was really great to meet so many people already enjoying growing curry ingredients at home and to introduce a few more people to the possibilities! Thanks to everyone who visited the stand and to all who attended my talks on Thai and Indian herbs.

Over the coming weeks and months we will be updating this blog with new recipes and growing tips and we’d love to hear your own recipes especially recipes for fresh cardamom and turmeric leaves. Unfortunately with so much enthusiasm we did sell out of a few plants at the show but I’m pleased to say that we do now have turmeric, malabar spinach and thai basil available online at www.plants4presents.co.uk and we will have more curry leaf trees and cardamom plants available in August.

If you are in the West Country this weekend we’ll be at the Great Tri-Border Chilli Festival on Saturday in Wincanton so please do pop along. We’ll have some great deals available on chilli plants, kaffir limes and a whole range of other curry ingredients.

Chaat! Magazine would love to talk to you about their ‘growing your own curry’ feature in the September issue. Do you have an email address at all?

    Many thanks

Hi, your lime tree and lemon grass from the Hampton Court Flower Show growing well in our garden. I put my name and email address on the waiting list? for neem trees which you sold out at the flower show. You told me that you are growing the next batch. Could you tell me more information about it and when the trees become available? Thanks.
